Through our historical shareholding in the D’Ieteren Group, we helped shape D’Ieteren Group’s structure and build multiple platforms into category leaders. Two examples among others:
  • Belron grew 25-fold in value over 25 years through patient family capital and more than a thousand acquisitions, becoming the global leader in vehicle glass repair.
  • Parts Holding Europe (PHE) has grown into a major European platform through regular bolt-on acquisitions.

SPDG is assembling an entrepreneurial portfolio of companies driving a better economy.

We deploy equity capital directly. Two-thirds of our assets, approximately €2 billion, are dedicated to investing in companies operating in the real economy where ideas and people make the difference. The remaining third ensures financial assets management and liquidity, enabling us to take meaningful risk where it matters.

Sustainability is the overarching principle that shapes how we invest, build and operate. Profitability funds reinvestment. Reinvestment funds sustainability. Sustainability creates lasting value.
